Arts Leadership and Administration Internship
at the Crescendo Summer Institute (CSI)
Overview
Crescendo North America offers a summer internship opportunity for Wheaton College students through the Crescendo Summer Institute (CSI), the summer institute run by Crescendo International that cultivates musical excellence, spiritual formation, and Christ-centered community among young classical and jazz musicians.
This internship would provide Wheaton students with meaningful professional experience in nonprofit leadership, event support, communications, evangelism, spiritual development, and hospitality while strengthening CSI’s capacity during its most active season.
Crescendo North America is a ministry of Cru serving professional classical and jazz musicians through discipleship, vocational encouragement, and Christian community. We are part of the global network of Crescendo International.

Internship Details

Program: Crescendo Summer Institute

Location: Tokaj, Hungary

Dates: July 16-August 1, 2026

Compensation: Interns will need to raise support for their expenses. The cost is approximately $500 for room and board, plus flight expenses.
Responsibilities
Intern roles may vary based on program needs and student strengths, but may include–

Program and event support (rehearsals, sessions, concerts, schedules)

Communications and storytelling (social media, photography, participant testimonials)

Hospitality and participant experience (check-in, orientation, logistics support)

Administrative support for staff and faculty

Optional donor engagement and development support
Interns will gain experience in–

Nonprofit operations and program execution

Event planning and logistics

Communication

Working in a Christ-centered arts and ministry environment

Vocational reflection on faith, calling, and service
Interns will also receive mentorship and professional supervision from Crescendo staff leadership.
