Instrument Repair (Virtual)
The Instrument Repair Hub includes instrument repair technicians, luthiers, instrument makers, piano tuners, and more. Hub leader Josiah shares, "This community is important because our work is so individual, often isolating, and we need to build community with fellow believers to encourage and help one other. Our work is the bridge between instrument and art! People of all lifestyles and walks of life need their instruments worked on, and we have the unique position to serve and be Christ's light to people who trust us to work on their instrument."
The group meets monthly for fellowship over Zoom.
Hub Leader
Josiah van Dyck
Josiah specializes in woodwind repair at Woodsy's Music in Kent, Ohio and is a freelancing oboist and English horn player in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He earned a diploma in Band Instrument Repair from Minnesota State College Southeast in Red Wing, MN and oboe performance degrees from Kent State University and Rutgers University.
