The DC Hub is made up of musicians from the National Symphony Orchestra, the Kennedy Center Opera, the U.S. Army Band and Chorus, as well as freelancers and conservatory students.

Patrick Spallinger
SSG Patrick Spallinger, double bassist, is a member of The U.S. Army Strings of "Pershing's Own". Formerly an active freelancer in the greater Pittsburgh region, he has performed regularly with the Wheeling, Canton, and Johnstown Symphony Orchestras. He earned degrees from Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University, and most recently Indiana University.
