Meet the Musicians -- Chicago Hub

The Crescendo hub leader in Chicago, Brian Reichenbach, has assembled an interesting mix of string players and wind players to perform a program of classics and modern works. The ensembles are brass quintet, flute quartet, and flute with piano, and the program features works by Amy Beach, Jennifer Higdon, Ken Benshoof, Howard Hanson, Michael Tilson Thomas, Bach, and Mozart. So, lets meet the players.

The brass quintet is, from right to left, Mark Olsen, Trumpet, Brian Reichenbach, Trumpet, Josh Biere, Tuba, Ryan Christianson, Trombone, and Amy Kruger, Horn. Here is a clip of an early rehearsal:

The flute quartet is Kim Fleuchaus, flute, Holly Wagner, violin, Bethany Pereboom, viola, and Ruth Mudge, 'cello, as seen below.

Also participating is Evan Fojtik, flute and Eugenia Jeong, piano.
