

















The Crescendo Chamber Music Project of Chicago features a flute and piano duo performing Romance, Op. 23, by Amy Beach and Sonata in E minor, BWV 1034, by J. S. Bach. The players are
Evan Fojtik, a flutist and educator in Chicago. Evan was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago from 2018–2021. Recent performances include appearances with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and South Bend Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his orchestral experience, Evan is passionate about exploring the potential for music to build community and has performed chamber music in many unconventional settings including public parks, libraries, an art gallery, restaurants, and a prison.
Eugenia Jeong holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from Northwestern University with departmental program honors. Equally at home as a chamber musician, she regularly collaborates with artist-faculty in the Chicago area and beyond. Eugenia currently serves as Director of Piano Studies at the University of Chicago.
