

















The Crescendo Chamber Music Project of Chicago includes a flute quartet. They are performing two works: "in Shadow, light" by Ken Benshoof and Flute Quartet in D Major, K. 285 by W.A. Mozart. The players are
Kim Fleuchaus, piccolo/flute, enjoys a diverse career in both classical and world music. She has performed with the Milwaukee, Charlotte, Elgin, Rockford and South Bend Symphony Orchestras, the South Carolina and Illinois Philharmonic Orchestras, Fifth House Ensemble, Cube Contemporary Chamber Ensemble and the Goodman Theatre. Her work also includes commercial jingles, video game music, numerous studio albums, live radio broadcasts and film scores. She received a B.M. from Northwestern University and an M.A. in Ethnomusicology from Bethel University, after which she began playing the Egyptian nay.
Holly Wagner, violin, is passionate about sharing diverse music in the concert hall and in the community. She was recently named associate member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and performed with the National Repertory Orchestra in 2019. She served on the music staff at CAMP-of-theWOODS for two seasons, where she performed a wide array of musical styles in educational and formal settings.
Bethany Pereboom, viola, believes that music is a powerful tool to connect people and is passionate about engaging people in her community as well as in the concert hall. She is a strong proponent of raising a generation of young people who appreciate the healing power of the arts and enjoys exploring art and music with toddlers and preschoolers as a Kindermusik educator. As Viola Fellow of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, she performs in and works individually with students in Chicago Public Schools and has collaborated in songwriting with young men in Illinois Youth Centers.
Ruth Mudge, cello, a former native of Connecticut, is a cello instructor and performer in the Western Suburbs of the Chicago area. Ruth is a current faculty member of the String Academy of Chicago on both cello and piano as well as the cello instructor at both Naperville North and Central High Schools. In addition to teaching, Ruth is the Assistant Principal Cellist of the Elmhurst Symphony. She received her Masters of Music at DePaul University and her Bachelors of Music from Wheaton College.
