Here are two short video clips of rehearsals by the brass quintet in the Crescendo Chamber Music Project -- Chicago Hub. The first is from Fanfare Quintet by Jennifer Higdon.

The quintet players are
Mark Olsen, trumpet, has performed with many entertainers including: Tony Bennett, Al Jarreau, Ce Ce Winans, Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole, Michael McDonald, B.B. King, Roger Daltry, & David Foster.
He’s lead trumpet of the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic & Chicago Jazz Ensemble.
Brian Reichenbach, trumpet, established himself as a versatile musician in the Chicago area for nearly twenty years. An avid chamber musician, Reichenbach has performed as a member of the International Chamber Artists, New Chicago Brass, and Lincoln Park Brass. He has also been a member of the Elmhurst Symphony and performed with ensembles including Chicago Sinfonietta, Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra, Quad Cities Symphony Orchestra, Millar Brass, and Eurobrass. In the fall of 2021, Reichenbach joins the faculty at Lee University School of Music in Cleveland, Tennessee as Assistant Professor of Trumpet. Brian is also the Crescendo Hub Leader for Chicago.
Amy Kruger, horn, a Chicagoland native, is an active freelancer with frequent appearances in ensembles across the Midwest. She is the current principal horn of the Peoria Symphony, Acting Principal of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra, and third horn of the Des Moines Metro Opera. In addition, she is an active substitute with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, South Bend Symphony Orchestra, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, and more.
Ryan Christianson, trombonist of the Dallas Brass, was born to a musical family in Grand Forks, ND and began playing trombone at an early age. He currently lives in Chicago, IL with his wife, Sarah, where he freelances in various settings with groups ranging from New Orleans style brass bands and big bands to chamber groups and symphony orchestras. Aside from his freelance work, Ryan has served as the principal trombonist for the Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra since 2018.
Josh Biere, tuba, is currently pursuing a DMA at UW Madison as a Paul J. Collins Wisconsin Distinguished Graduate Fellow. Mr. Biere is also the principal tubist in the Madison Symphony, and has held the position since 2013. He is a highly sought after soloist, chamber musician, clinician. and teacher throughout the Midwest.
